FPLA Now Accepts Florida Reading Scholarship Program
Reading and comprehension are essential life skills, however, 65% or more 4th graders read below grade level. Full Potential Learning Academy (FPLA) is a premier tutoring center known for its award-winning Reading (decoding)-comprehension program. FPLA - Reading & Comprehension Program continues to help improve reading proficiency by 2 grade levels in 90 days. It is not surprising that local schools refer their students to FPLA to improve their reading proficiency.
Florida Reading Scholarship Program with FPLA
Based on our record of accomplishment accrued since 1998, we are approved to provide summer and after-school reading programs to the Florida Reading Scholarship recipients (scroll down to read about the program details). At FPLA, we encourage children to aspire to a bright future by empowering them with academic and life skills in a positive learning environment that is equipped with a variety of learning resources. Students may take our programs through our live online classes, led by one of our FPLA-certified tutors, from the comfort of their homes.
What is Florida Reading Scholarship Program?
Florida Reading Scholarship Program is designed to help public school students currently enrolled in the fourth and fifth grade, who scored 1 or 2 in the English Language Arts (ELA) portion of the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA). Eligible students will receive up to $500 in financial assistance, which can be used to pay for tutoring, summer and after-school literacy programs, purchase of instructional materials and curriculum related to reading or literacy.

Eligibility Criteria:
Who is Eligible?
3rd - 5th grade students of a public school.
Reading FSA Score 1 or 2 in the 3rd or 4th grade;spring 2019 FSA.
1. Students enrolled in Florida public schools including magnet and charter schools.
2. Received level 1 or 2 in the ELA portion in the third or fourth grade FSA administered during Spring 2019.
